How Long Does It Take to Get Bespoke
Stone Worktops Made and Installed?
A plain-English guide from our Bridgend workshop.
Most stone worktop projects take three to four weeks from your first consultation to a fitted kitchen. The fitting itself usually takes two to three days.
Free site visit and quote
We start with a free, no-obligation site visit at your home or at our Bridgend showroom, where we talk through your kitchen and give you a quote.
Choosing your slab
We invite every customer to visit our Bridgend showroom to view and choose their exact slab before it is cut.
Templating
Next, we template your kitchen by taking exact measurements, so your worktop is cut to fit your kitchen precisely.
Made in our Bridgend workshop
Your worktop is cut and shaped on our CNC machinery at our Bridgend workshop, and it is checked before it leaves us.
Fitting day
Fitting usually takes two to three days. We handle the plumbing adjustments, waste pipe repositioning and final polishing. Granite and marble are sealed at the time of fitting, and quartz never needs sealing.
What can change the timeline
Lead times vary with material availability and how busy we are. Rush orders are available on request, so let us know if you're working to a deadline.
